Caylee Marie Anthony was reported missing July 15, a month after the toddler disappeared, according to her mother, Casey Anthony. Suspicion has fallen on her mother, who investigators say told a string of lies. On Dec. 19, officials with the Orange County Sheriff's Office announced that a child's remains found a quarter-mile from the Anthony home were those of Caylee Anthony.

I was shocked when I seen that, Casey did not want them in their. They are going to hear how they will be thrown under the bus, and I bet it in the opening statement.
I guess FL has different rules, I have never heard of anyone being allowed in the Court room until they have been dismissed from testimony.
But never fear they will make their facial expressions and shake their head. I hope JP keeps his word throws them out.

Most of the clip just recaps the case, but toward the end of the video they interview a prosecutor to get her take on the case and they specifically ask about why the Anthonys are going to be allowed in the courtroom during trial. I guess her answer makes sense if you are talking about 'normal' people...but she said that the Anthonys have already gone through depositions and that they won't be changing their stories at this point. She also said that as grandparents of the deceased and parents of the accused, they have the right to be able to be present at trial. Hmmm.
I hope part of the Anthonys atire for court is a ski mask or duct tape for their mouth, you know that famouse duct tape Casey used, I a sure she could apply it on them if they need help she is the master in charge of the event.
My thought is that Casey is the one that does not want her parents to hear every detail of what she did to Caylee. The opening statement is going to be earth shaking to Cindy and George.
They may both loose it at that point. They will see just how evil Casey is, when will they ever wake up and remember the smell in the car and realize that is what they raised.
I understand it is hard to believe your child that you raised can do something this evil. But it happens and nothing can take it back to the place it once was with this beautiful little girl still living a life.
Caylee had the right to grow up, get a education, get married and have children of her own. But that did not happen the great unemployed low life event planner took that choice away.

When will our society be there for the victim and stop giving these killers so many rights, the only victim is Caylee she is the one that had everything taken away. Casey chose to take her own right away when she killed Caylee.
Rascal, I almost cried when I read your post. Caylee did have the right to grow up and have a full life. That is really what this is about...a child was murdered. I really think the questionable part is not whether Casey will be convicted but whether she will get the DP or LWOP. The whole country and especially FL citizens are very aware of this case and I don't think anyone will be able to look past the 31 days of not reporting, the party pics, the lies, the stealing, etc. even if the defense tries to give 'logical' reasons for all of this...Casey's own behavior is what gives her away. I will obviously be happy about a guilty verdict, but I think the DP is too good for her, especially because it will bring her more fame, attention and notoriety than she would get if she were just another LWOP inmate. All she has left to make her happy now is ATTENTION and after the trial is over I hope she doesn't get anymore.
Like you said, I hope they sit in that courtroom, listen to the opening statements and realize that THEY helped create a MOMster. They will see that all of the lies and trying to cover up for their POS daughter was for nothing. They should just accept the situation for what it is and be grateful that they didn't get into any legal trouble themselves for all of the lies and tampering with the investigation.

Hopefully after the trial concludes there will be justice for Caylee. I'm worried after watching the report on TV in which they did a mock presentation to a select group of "common folk" that the jury pool would likely be made of - and they refused to find her guilty of murder and even seemed hesitant to find her guilty of manslaughter saying they felt it was an accident?!? An Accident - Caylee accidently fell into a vat of chlorophorm(sp?), duct taped her head and climbed into Crazy's car???
On a side note - I got to meet Andrea Lyon a few weeks ago while she was arguing a case in the 4th District App.Court - she seemed great - which is probaly why she wasn't in the case very long!

Good morning (good afternoon, east coasters)! Glad to see everyone again :) I've been following the jury selection process thanks to Rascal's links; it's really interesting that the questions the defense and prosecution are asking the potential jurors are basically telling us what their respective strategies are during the trial. So far it's obvious that Dear Mom and Dad (and probably Lee) are going to be thrown under the bus, but what I'm surprised about is that based on the types of questions they're asking, it seems like the defense will admit that Casey killed Caylee and are now just trying to see to it that she doesn't get the death penalty. I thought they were sure of her innocence and had proof that she was innocent. Having an excuse for why she did it (b/c of her family dysfunction, past 'abuse', whatever) is not the same of being innocent. I guess in a legal sense it will be a 'victory' for the defense if she doesn't get the DP, so Bozo can brag about how he 'won' a DP case. I'm not sure how the jurors will go in the penalty phase, but it's nice to think that the defense sees that there is no way Casey is getting a 'not guilty' verdict and are just focused on trying to save her worthless life by getting her LWOP (which is fine by me)! Also, I'm assuming that LWOP cheaper for the state to pay for than the DP and all of the appeals that come with it, so that's not a bad thing for FL taxpayers!
Bozo try the abuse and sexual abuse theory, this is all going to come back and bite you in the butt.

Hi all. Oh my goodness, I was barely able to concentrate at work today b/c I kept wanting to read about what was going on in the trial. Poor George...I truly do feel sorry for him. I'm glad he stuck up for himself, but what little was left of his reputation is now shattered. What a horrible feeling it must be to have your own child destroy you in public this way. A few thoughts: 1) even though we know it's a lie, I'm surprised that Bozo and team were smart enough to not go the 'Zanny' route to explain how Caylee died. There was no way to prove the actual cause of death from her remains and the jurors are supposed to consider that when they reach a verdict, 2) I live in Arizona, where unfortunately dozens of kids drown in swimming pools every year. Most of the time, 911 or the police are called, an investigation is done, the death is filed as accidental and no one is charged with a crime. There is no way the 'accidental drowning' story is gonna fly in light of the fact that the b!tch didn't report for 31 days and only when her mother made her! 3) there are plenty of people out there who really ARE abused as children and when people lie about being abused it is an insult to the people who have really gone through it. Also, there are many people who are abused as kids who do NOT use that as an excuse for their behavior as adults. I cannot wait to see this b!itch's face when the guilty verdict is read!

I was thinking about Mallory's statement that Casey was amazing as a mother, I had to laugh.

If you read the link above, RichardHornsby, he does confirm that on May 18, the day I believe Bozo left court early and Judge Perry was fine with it, that Bozo's wife was pregnant on that day. I think he was allowed to leave due to her having the baby that day. So he DOES have a newborn at home.. Read the link posted above by Rascal I believe.. Someone asks Hornsby a question back then wanting to know why he was allowed to leave like that. Richard then says Bozo's wife was pregnant so it might have had something to do with that, and on TV one of the lawyers mentioned Jose having a newborn at home.

I listened to Lee?s attorney last night he stated Lee still believes his sister is innocent. Lee was not forthcoming in his testimonhy. This makes me believe this is all a show from the Anthony?s to save Casey. George and Cindy seem to be more forth coming sitting on the Prosecution side, but are we getting the entire truth. I do not think so. I still think Casey left on the 15th after the big fight. I do not believe George seen Casey on the 16th. The Anthony?s did not spend almost 3 years standing behind Casey to suddenly switch over to the States side. This is just not passing the smell test with me. I believe this has all been set up in the meeting of the minds with the Anthony?s, Lippman and Bozo in his office.
A lot of times I have to take all this information inn I lay in bed like I did last night until 1 am. And I have a aha moment. , We have seen many seen the many faces of the Anthony?s and their attitude that would not go well with the Jury. They are forced to look like the are cooperating and so a sad side to all of this, If they acted like they had before that would definitely hurt Casey. But we are not getting the truth from them. It is hard for me to show the Anthony;s sympathy when they are not completely truth for Caylee. They need to be truthful and stand up for Caylee she is the victim not Casey.

Hi all. I was listening to the trial at work yesterday and almost felt the urge to cheer when Dr. G was on the stand and explained why this has to be a homicide despite not being able to determine the actual cause of death. That was a big, big 'win' for the prosecution IMO. Also, everyone (including Bill Sheaffer) knows that Casey is being coached to act a certain way when certain testimony is given. At first they were having her fake-cry but then the DUHfense read on a blog or something that defendants act sad when they are guilty and ANGRY when they are innocent. So after reading that they told her to look angry. This is soooo ridiculous. I hope the jury will see through her act and let that overshadow any 'reasonable doubt' the defense will try to put forth. She is a horrible actress anyway! Any word on whether they will put her on the stand?

So, a couple of things - first - I saw testimony when they were talking about the paving stones - Remember when Dominic Casey was looking for the paving stones - ironic that they were actually there. . .
Second - what kinda impression does Casey think she is making not looking at anything - or anyone during the trial.
Casey had vied all the evidence on the computer even the pictures, but when the jury is in there she cry's for sympathy. Casey is not fooling anyone but the Jury. I really think they have seen threw her.

This so call expert preformed his test on a Pig, it did not have Duct Tape over it's mouth under conditions that have nothing to do with the conditions in FL. This Pig was not put in trash bags, and a water proof Laundry bag. Also no one cleaned the car out like Cindy did to cover the evidence.

20 seconds after the searches Cindy claimed to have made in her testimony the computer went to my space. Cindy did not have a my space set up until Caylee went missing. This testimony today will come back to bite her in the Ass.
Do not worry shipmates, Cindy said she was home doing the search's. She also stated she did not have a my space site at that time, she did not have one until Caylee went missing.

Although we know that momster is guilty of many things that caused Caylee to not be with us anymore, I do not feel good right now thinking that the defense slaughtered the state yesterday and today and am waiting for SINdy to admit to seeing George molest momster next week in court. I hope the jury knew about this case before sitting on this jury!

Hi y'all. What a crazy couple of days of testimony...I am a bit worried but I agree, Rascal, I have faith in the State too. The prosecutors are much tougher, smarter and more experienced than the defense (obviously) and they have the truth on their side. I would also like to think that the jury will be able to see the Anthonys trying to lie and cover up for Casey. I found Lee's testimony today very weird..he seemed to genuinely cry and seem really hurt that his mom and sister did not let him know about the pregnancy. But I guess Bozo was asking him about it in order to bring in some more of the 'family secrets and molestation' innuendo? This trial just got a whole lot weirder and this probably isn't the weirdest part.

This information came from one of Cindys co workers.
I was at the Orlando International Airport when the news of Cindy Anthony testifying that it was SHE that did the search for chloroform on the family computer and not Casey. Cindy claimed that it was common for people not to be at work even though the payroll records would show that she was at work during the times the searches on the computer were taking place.
As it turned out there was someone else out there who was also surprised that Cindy stated what she did on the stand. This one person has information that, if it gets to the State Attorney’s office, has the potential of turning this case upside down and quite likely putting Cindy in line to appear as a defendant in the same courthouse as her daughter.
The following letter has been sent to Detective Yuri Melich by a co worker of Cindy’s who has been trying to contact someone close to the case with important information regarding Cindy’s testimony.

Hi Det. Melich
I am reaching out to you because I am unable to contact anyone at the prosecutor’s office and I was hoping maybe you could help.
I worked at Gentiva at the same time Cindy Anthony did; she worked in the Winter Park branch and I worked at a corporate office in (withheld by request)
Regarding her testimony, there are several untruths she testified to, and I feel the need to make sure that the prosecutors have this information:
1) Cindy said she had to do computer searches at home since at work she had no access to the internet, that Gentiva had their own intranet. This is not true, all locations had access to internet (as well as Gentiva’s intranet). We needed the internet to be able to look up the most recent medications, therapies and treatments, since Gentiva is a home health company. This info could be easily confirmed by Gentiva.
2) Cindy said that perhaps her supervisor had filled in her time card, since according to her time card she was at work during the computer searches. This is also not true. Timesheets were completed by employees themselves ONLINE, not by paper and pen, and not by punching a time clock. Cindy stated correctly that we had lots of passwords and we were not allowed to give our password to anyone else, including our supervisors. The only one who could fill out Cindy’s timecard was Cindy. And if she was leaving early for the day, or not coming to work that day, we all knew the salary schedule, when timesheets had to be completed by. If she was taking a Wednesday off, for instance, and payroll was due by that day, she would have gone into her computer on Tuesday and filled out her timesheet, also indicating PTO. This can also be verified by Gentiva.
3) Cindy said she made her own schedule and came and went as she pleased. This is not true. Even though we were salaried, what that meant was that we could not claim overtime. PTO (paid time off) was given to us depending on length of employment, and was watched carefully. We were allowed to take time off but had to submit it as PTO. This can also be verified by Gentiva.
4) It was inferred that since Cindy hasn’t been to work at Gentiva since 2008, they probably didn’t keep any old records. This is not true. It is a home health agency, and as nurses, our paperwork and computer work is considered legal documentation and is kept for an extended period of time, always with the thought in mind that someday that documentation might be needed in a court of law. This is another reason why our time at work was correctly documented at all times. There was never any “I wasn’t there but my timesheet says I was”. No way, ever. If her timesheet says she was working, she was working. This can also be verified by Gentiva.
5) Last but not least, just have to throw this out there, Cindy is an RN. There is no way on earth she would ever have to do a google search on such laymen phrases like “head trauma” or “ruptured spleen” or any of those other ridiculous mispelled words.
I am hoping that you will be able to get this information to the prosecutors. My heart goes out to Cindy and George Anthony, but I believe they are lying in an effort to have Casey found not guilty and released. I just can’t sit by and watch that train wreck.

Thought the State did an incredible job and shot down all the pointless objections and theories the duhfense offered. Now it's a waiting time where patience is much needed. It matters not to me which sentence momster gets, LWOP or the DP. All that matters is justice is accomplished for Caylee and I have faith it will happen.

I can't help but to feel very overwhelmed with this outcome. I didn't think anything about this case could EVER shock me anymore. But this, this verdict really threw me for a loop. I don't understand how 12 people could all decide that there's not enough evidence pointing to Casey. --Not EVEN abuse? Neglect? How??
Perhaps if they looked at just ONE incident of lying/covering up, then maybe not. But ALL of the lies compiled add up to her hiding the death of her child. I mean, logically, someone would make a murder look like an accident, but people don't make accidents look like murder. --And that's EXACTLY what Baez wants us to believe, that Casey made this accident look like a murder, but WE ALL KNOW it wasn't, too bad the jurors couldn't figure it out.

I just love how neglect is not considered not reporting your child missing for 31 days. Will have to remember that one if I ever need to bring this case up if I am ever in the same situation.
